Could this island chain, where so many disasters have been happening in recent years, be the start of the latest inevitable pandemic to affect the human population??
WHO (The World Health organization) doesn't think so.
Neither does the CDC (Center for Disease Control) in Atlanta.
But then in a different article, I read that WHO is "stumped" to explain how the virus passed from one family member to another....

I sure hope they can break some ground over there. With all the people that are surly trying to help the people over there due to the latest earthquake that killed in excess of 4000 people (and many more homeless because of all of this)and the volcano that still has to erupt.....man the whole thing would scare me to death if I was even near such a hotspot.
What happens if a bunch of people are gathered together in a shelter for instance that they have been evacuated to and one person comes into said shelter with this flu....well it doesn't take a big streach of the imagination to come to the conclusion that I have come to with such a scenario that could very well be happening right now...
Out of 40 some cases in Indonesia alone, 30 some people have died and that my friends is close to a 90% mortality rate.
And out of a family of 7 individuals, 6 of them have succumbed to this strange flu by transmitting it to each other.
People's Daily Online -- WHO dismisses human-to-human bird flu spread in Indonesia
Too much thinking for one day....
