U.S. Senator Arlen Specter sent a "scathing" letter to Vice President Dick Cheney, warning him of a "constitutional confrontation" of sorts in repsonse to the ongoing NSA Wiretapping scandal that is currently under review by the Congress.
The full PDF version of the letter can be read by clicking the link below:

(You must have the "Adobe Acrobat Reader" application to view the letter. It can be downloaded from the Adobe web site at: www.Adobe.com).
I think it is about time that our congress starts getting tough with this administration that feels it can do whatever it wants without repercussion or fear.
A government is only accountable when it is held accountable. And this government has NOT been held accountable. And for those that say this wiretapping and all the other crap that this administration have done in the fight for protecting us from terrorism, I say BULLCRAP!!
These guys are crooked pure and simple. There is no sane person that could come to any other conclusion. Anyone that thinks this stuff is ok is either totally brainwashed or their thinking has been altered by all the "propaganda" that this government is trying to shove at all of us.
CNN also has a video segment of Specter lashing out at "Prince Dicky". Watch it by clicking on the link below:

I say enough already. Specter says it is a political issue and not a crime. He says that while being a constitutional issue, the whole thing should have been discussed within a framework of checks and balances which is why the government has the different divisions set up in the first place.
I say we need to charge this dufus vice president with "High Crimes and misdemeanors" and convict him and send him and the rest of the administration that was responsible for this crime to prison for a very long time. No one is above the law and I hope Specter and my congressman Fiengold and others like him keep pressing this issue so that it is not "swept under the rug"....
