Remember Screech? The bell may not save him this time

His name is Dustin Diamond.

He was a childhood star back in the 90s along with two other guys I can't even remember.

But the sitcom was on for many years and though it was kind of corny at times, I do remember getting a few laughs out of it every now and again.

"Saved by the Bell" is now in syndication but the royalties that Dustin recieves from the rebrodcast of the show can't help him keep his house in Port Washington, Wisconsin (about 45 miles north of where I live).

So he has decided to try his "celebrity status" as a former child star and use his "name recognition" and is hawking t-shirts on Howard Stern's radio show as well as a website he has created, which you can reach at:
www.getdshirts.com

Read on for the full story from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Online Edition:
JS Online:The bell may not save him this time

I will probably buy one of his t-shirts. For $15.00 it will be a nice conversation piece...plus maybe I can help a former child star keep his home.
I hope he has good luck in his endevor...
(It is amazing what the hollywood stuff does to kids!!)
