( A picture of a T-shirt I want to buy!!)Well I made it to the protest in front of Congressman Ryan's office this evening.
I was running late as I had tons of errands to run and one of those being getting my driver's liscence renewed at the D.M.V. (That was an hour long wait just there....).
I got into Downtown Racine around 530pm and unfortunately the group was just starting to break up.
I did get to talk to a few nice people and I shared my views on the latest scandals unfolding in Washington and signed a petition to send to Washington to stop the domestic spying. I also signed up for an email news letter from one of the protest organisers and got a flier for a speech that will be held on an upcoming March monday where a Marquette University professor will be speaking about some pretty cool subject matter.
I was kind of dissapointed that not one of my friends or associates from work offered to go with me. But that is ok. I understand that everyone probably had other things to do.
It was a very nice half hour that I spent with some very like minded individuals though and I had a nice time in all.
