Associated Press is Reporting that Bush knew NOTHING about the Sale of our Ports Infastructure...

This stuff with Bush just keeps getting better and better.....

And this is after I discovered that he personally nominated a senior executive of the very same company that wants to buy the port operations to the federal government position of "Maritime Administrator"!!
(See my post below this one for more info on that).

Maybe he (Bush) has forgetten that he knows Dave Sanborn.
I seem to remember another time during the presidential elections a few years ago where George claimed he didnt know quite a few people and then later on his face turned up in photos with him....too funny.

So to get back to my post....
I just read a report from the AP via the Milwaukee Journal Online and in part of the story, it says that the White house did not tell Bush about the secretive negotiations with the company in question.
I find that impossible to believe and I find it equally impossible to even think that the A.P. would not be picking up on some of the things I have discovered.

So I decided to email as many editors of the Associated Press that I could.
Following is a copy of the email I just sent out.

To the editors of the Associated Press:

To whom it may concern,

I am a reader of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal and as such I read many of the Associated Press Reports via the newspaper's online edition. I enjoy your articles very much and also have much admiration for your writers-journalists.
But with the unfolding story regarding the "Sale of some of our Ports to a foriegn company based in the U.A.E., I decided I wanted to try and get my thoughts about the story to one of your reporters or editors to see if they have noticed the following connection......
I would like to know if anyone in the AP has any idea of the connection of one of "Duabi's Ports" chief executives (David Sanborn) being nominated as Maritime Administrator for the U.S. government by none other than President Bush. He will be reporting directly to Minetta.
Add to this your article which I just read in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/P/PORTS_SECURITY?SITE=WIMIL&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT

......says Bush knew nothing about this pending sale of our ports before it was approved...even though he personally nominated a chief executive of that company to be a senior member of our federal government that will essentially be in charge of all of our port infrastructure in this country.
It all just seems a little weird that all of the above could have been missed by your reporters. Or is that something you do not feel has any bearing on this unfolding story....I sure think it does as do quite a few people I have talked to in the last day since Bush started sounding his "I wont back down horn" to congress.
To me it makes it seem all that more apparent why Bush would be fighting for this deal to go through being that he surly knew of what was happening, what with nominating Mr. Sanborn to that post and all.
(Then again maybe I am wrong but somehow the pieces of this story just don't seem to fit together too tightly when it comes to the White House and Bush's involvement in all of this).

Warm Regards,

John Repinski
