I have blogged about this FlU before and from all accounts that I have read up to today, the prognosis for avoiding an eventuall pandemic is slim to say the least.
But now today, an article in "New Scientist" gives some hope on avoiding this nasty killer that has already emerged in parts of Europe after having escaped from Asia this last winter.
And the hope comes from the common cold! Imagine that.
Nature sure does work in funny ways.
