THE WEEKLY REPORT FROM MR JOHN: "We are only at the beginning"-Our Crazy World today- March 11, 2006

And I thought we were well past the beginning. First Iraq and then North Korea and then China and now Iran. I wonder if Bush was in India to make sure that this part of the "empire" stays in check (as they already have the capacity to make these nifty little planet killers) as to it's nuclear ambitions....
I feel that our 21st Century will go down in history as being one of the bloodiest that is recorded, if not the last century of civilization as we know it.
From looking at the news of today, things sure seem a little scary to me...

.....Slobodan Milosevic, the former Serbian strongman regarded as the chief architect of the carnage unleashed during the breakup of Yugoslavia, died Saturday in custody at The Hague, where he was on trial for war crimes in the killing fields of the Balkan states of Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo.

Bird flu has killed its 22nd human victim in Indonesia, a 12-year-old girl, according to tests by the World Health Organization's Hong Kong laboratory, an Indonesian health ministry official said on Friday.

'So we are all supposed to click our heels, grin and give Bush a big ole thumbs up in the next approval poll because he tossed out a bogus bone: The Dubai Port deal "pull out."

The Bushie media are spouting this story as if Bush had "given up" and Dubai Port World had withdrawn from the deal. But look again. DPW is only turning operations over to an American holding company. They are STILL the guys "behind the curtain." This smells very much like a back room deal worked out by Bush and his pals in Dubai/UAE. Just tell let 'em think they won - meanwhile, it'll be the same company, different name on the door.'

And then a discovery of life that was believed to have been extinct for the last 11 million years. Its not the stuff of "Jurrasic Park" but it is still very cool...
It has the face of a rat and the tail of a skinny squirrel -- and scientists say this creature discovered living in central Laos is pretty special: It's a species believed to have been extinct for 11 million years.
