The Sunday News According to John: My Sunday Ramblings

So here is my version of the "Sunday News".....
I have decided to call my main sunday post "The Sunday News According to John: My Sunday Ramblings".

All sort of different subjects I plan on covering.
Political controversies and esp. my take on "King George's Administration", tech based news (and maybe some cool software links), news of the world, weird and strange news, personal ramblings, stories from my life experiences, a sypnosis or two on the latest book I am reading possibly, maybe some photos of my world ,and whatever else I think may be interesting.

I do not know what kind of format I will follow,as this is a work in progress.
Comments welcome...

On to the "Sunday Ramblings" and "News"....Via "John's Crazy World"

(Oh and by the way, I am currently in the process of making a new blog that I intend to title
"The Illusion that is called Our World" and it I plan on digging into the subject of my current book I am reading and the ideas behind it. Read to the bottom of this post for more on this subject....)

Technology in the World Today

Are Kids too pluged in?:
First up is a story from Time Magazine that talks about how kids are becoming too wired on technology and all that this new fun stuff brings:
http://edition.cnn.com/2006/US/03/19/time.cover.story/index.html

My thoughts on this story:
I was talking to a friend the other day and we were discussing this subject in a little detail.
I told him that when I was a kid, I was pretty much outside from the end of school till just before bedtime and half the time my mom couldnt even get me (or my siblings) to come in for dinner.

We did have a tv and we had a phone that was glued to the wall, we had a stereo and I even had some nifty little electronic gadgets but by and far the "outdoors" was our playground of choice and technology at that time was just the above and me and my friends didnt care too much about it...except for the friday nights when the "Dukes of Hazzard" or some other cool show was on and maybe for 30 minutes after school to see who "Batman" was going to "Boink or "Blam" in the next episode....

The summer months were filled with so much adventure (when your less than 5 feet tall...everything seems to be an adventure) and none of it involved computers, cell phones, portable i-pods or anything else technology based.
We would be busy one day building a "wood fort" in the woods at the end of our block, the next day we would spend the entire "drag racing" on our bikes to see who was the fastest and who could get those little bikes to do the coolest wheelies (I broke my ankle in one of these events when I was 11 or 12 and spent the entire summer in a cast) and on the hottest days we would either be at either the east or west side swimming pools or sometimes we would get lucky enough to have either a mom or a dad or maybe someone's older brother take us out to one of the local lakes or ponds where we could spend the entire day frolicking in the sun, getting lost under the water, cannonballing each other or just laying back and staring at the sun.
On days when no one was around or if one of us got mad at the other (friends get mad at one another even when they are kids) I would grab a book from my bedroom or bike off to the local library and dig around the shelfs for whatever I could find.

In the fall we would be outside yet again for most of the day.
Raking leaves wasnt all that much fun, but the payoff was that once we had all the leaves raked up and in a big pile (before being put in the plastic bags) we would climb the big trees that were above the piles and jump into the leave pile. Time and time again....I dont quite remember now why that was so much fun.....but it was.
Then there was the walks and hikes through the woods on crisp fall days, picking up nuts that had fallen from the trees and or finding the perfect leave to take to school the next day and press into a scrap book.
I remember spending so many hours in those woods and so much time admiring what nature had given me to play with.....

Even the winter months were spent outside when at all possible. Mom would dress us up like little eskimos and the only time we would come in was if our feet were so frozen that we couldnt feel our toes.
(And even then sometimes we would just keep on playing and ignoring the painfully obvious).
The "ice skating" and seeing who could do a better backwards figure 8, or who could build the coolest "snow tunnel" under the big pile of snow at the ends of each driveway in our neighborhood, or playing "king of the hill" atop the big mound of snow that had been put in the corner of the old IGA Grocery Store parking lot.
I remember alot more snow back then though. Or maybe it was because I was so much smaller and the world just seemed so much bigger.

My time indoors was spent with my siblings and my parents and up until my parents got diviorced, I think we had a pretty wonderful family unit.
Most of the time we ate together all of our meals. My mom made pancakes and eggs and french toast and hardly ever did we have to bow to a bowl of cereal, dinners were taste sensations for the pallete (my mother being a very good and inventive german cook) and the mornings, though they were hurried and loud, were a good starting point to all of our days and at night we all went to bed at the same time and we all said goodnight to each other (just as the Waltons on tv did), we shared weekend trips into the county or to visit far off relations and if there was no relation to visit on a weekend or a sunday, we would still hop into the family station wagon for a "sunday drive to nowhere in particular". Some times we would take a suprise drive out to my grandparent's farm which was about 30 miles away. (When I was a bit older but before I was 16, I biked out to their farm a few times even).
In the summer my dad made a point of taking us camping at least every other weekend if he could and those were the best of summer weekends.

The point I am trying to make here is that I had none of those things that kids have these days and I dont think I had a neglected childhood by any means. In fact I think I was better off then a lot of kids are now with all of their gizmos and gadgets. I think it is making kids stupid, fat, with lack of energy and 80% of the kids I deal with these days have no work ethic whatsoever.

Do I think that my childhoold was the greatest?
No....but you know what? The more I think about it, the more I am beginning to feel that maybe my childhood was the greatest. Alot better than what my nephew, who is in his late teens now, went through.

I do think that because of all the time I spent with the outdoors and excersising and the fresh air I was breathing in 3/4 of my day and life in general back then had alot to do with not only my outlook on life today but also my work ethic and a whole host of other things that make me who I am today.

New Windows OS (Vista) to Ship in October??
I have heard various stories on this. I think it was the "Desktop Pipeline Newsletter" that talked about October and then there are various other sites saying November.
This from a site out of good old Redmond. Hopefully with them being so close to the action they should know something....wouldn't you think???
http://www.redmondmag.com/news/article.asp?EditorialsID=7222

My thoughts:
Will this new OS out of Redmond really be ready for retail release in October?
I sure hope so.
My first order of business will be to buy a new laptop with the "ultimate edition" on it!
I cant wait.I have been following this exciting new operating system from Microsoft for quite some time now and I have tried out quite few of the available enhancements scheduled to be included such as the IE 7 Beta and of course the Antispyware.
I even tried out the "One Care Live" beta that included total security and virus protection, though I ended up uninstalling it as it dragged my system to a crawl.

I have also been keeping up on all the enhancements thanks mainly to Scott Finee and his email newsletters where he has dug into the betas very intensley for quite a while now.

I did read in the above article that the code is set to got to manufacturing some time in August. Like I said...I cant wait!!!

Crazy Stories in the News

Kid's computer taken by "Secret Service":
My first story here is one that I find amazing at first but then knowing what this administration is capable of in relation to it's spying on it's citizens, it doesnt seem that amazing after all.
You probably wont here about it too much in the mainstreem press but it is out there and what at first made me laugh....now is making me actually a little bit angry....
http://www.wsoctv.com/news/8056476/detail.html

A short version without clicking on link above: So it seems this kid got a visit from the "Secret Service" after posting some "reworded lyrics" on a website called "myspace.com".
Tim Willis, a freshman at Mars Hill College, said he made the posting to myspace.com in late February in response to a posting by a friend, whose computer also was seized.
And the government "baddies" proceeded to confiscate his computer because the lyrics were inflamitory and talked about the assisination of Kennedy but had been reworded to reflect the curent bozo.

My thoughts on this:
I am sorry but this is going a bit above and beyond in the realm of reality.
We must all start to realise how much our freedoms are being eroded on a daily basis and we need to do something about it!

Invasion of the "Body Snatchers"??:
A macabre scandal in which corpses were plundered for body parts could be even bigger than previously disclosed, with one company alone saying it has distributed thousands of pieces of human tissue that authorities fear could be tainted with disease.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11828651/?GT1=7850

My thoughts on this one:
I have never had other people's bones or tissues attached to my body (that I am aware of) but I can imagine how scary this must be for the thousands of people who have.
I read a story in Newsweek Magazine a few weeks ago that talked about some of the people in the NYC metro area who are invovled in this business and the reading was like something out of a horror novel.
One quote from the Newsweek story talked about how after this one guy sold his funeral home, he continued to go into it and accessed a secret operating room on the second floor that had been sealed, and along with others, continued to operated on dead bodies and after operating they would stuff their surgical gowns and instruments inside the "cadavers" and sew the bodies up....no one being the wiser. (Why would anyone xray a dead body was probably their thoughts in doing this).
I hope the poor souls who reciecved some of these "tainted body parts" are ok physically but I can only imagine the emotional toll that this stuff has already taken on them.

Ouch--Man Severs his Penis and Throws it at Officers:
"Before cops threw the book at him, Jakub Fik threw something unusual at them....
http://www.suntimes.com/output/news/cst-nws-ouch17.html

My thoughts on this:
So what would make a guy do something so obviously painful?
I can only imagine it was some sort of "payback" to his girlfriend, with whom he had been arguing with a little bit before the incident got underway.
I did hear they put the "private piece" back on though.
Maybe he can become pen pals with "John Wayne Bobbit of "Severed Penis by Wife" fame that happened a few years back......

The Court of "King George" and What's going on This Weekend in his Adminitration and in the World -AKA "My Conspiracy Theories for the Day"

There is no Civil War in Iraq and Gas Prices will continue to Increase because of Demand:
According to the Bush Administration and in particular, Prince Dicky, there is no civil war starting to transpire in Iraq. Others disagree on this a bit:
http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/world/la-fg-usiraq20mar20,0,121080.story?coll=la-home-headlines

Also it seems the reason for the price of gas going up instead of going down (even though Crude Oil prices by the barrel are down) is that demand is higher right now. I read an article a few months ago that really opened my eyes on the whole oil thing and here is one article that goes into a little detail to try and explain things a bit: http://www.rense.com/general67/PRICE.HTM

My thoughts on these things:
I think there is a Civil War brewing over in Iraq and one that we have helped "brew up" in many different ways for many different reasons.

(I know I am not alone in my thoughts and even just listening to CNN right now on sunday evening.....I know that there are so many people thinking that so many of these stories are complete fabrications to "tell us what our government WANTS us to hear, see and believe" and the "Spin Machine" is in full swing tonight, that is for sure!)

So what better way to take another stab at a totally screwed up operation??
I have a feeling that whatever was originally planned over there in the Middle East somehow did NOT go "according to plan" and now a new tactic is being used.

Ok, so some may say that I am going out on a limb here but I am going to walk that branch none the less:
Some may call it "Destroy and Rebuild" and it is a common theme with the "World Power Brokers" whoever they may be.....
(I am sure that the Bush Family as well as Cheney and quite a few other influental world leaders, such as the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds and the royal families of Europe is a good place to start)
......and this alone means more wealth and power in the longterm for all those connected to the rebuilding, and to the logistical place that Iraq holds in the world (as it has since the dawn of history and even preshistory) and more desolation for those that are not. This includes the average U.S. citizen as well I fear.

In case no one has realised, the Middle class as we know it (which I thought I used to be a part of) is quickly being eroded through various means and this leaves essentially two distinct classes of people-The Rich and the Poor. Everywhere one looks, the wealthy are getting wealthier and the middle class is eroding into poverty more and more each day.

How many people have noticed their utility bills, cable bills, gas prices and all other things that have an economic base becoming more expensive and most people NOT being able to keep up with even the basics.
Well alot of people I have talked to feel this way. Those that are in the $75,000 plus a year category probably are not noticing it as much as those who bring home what was once considered to be "middle american wages" and the ones in poverty (those that are what would be called destitute) are either starving or living like peasents of the 18th century....not being able to concentrate on anything other than pure survival to stay alive....

....And that my friends is exactly what I feel is the "reasoning" behind all that is going on in the world today. To take away people's basic liberites and freedoms, one must take those person's thought processes down to the level where the main thing that they will be thinking of is ....survival. Survival pure and simple and there wont be enough personal energy to think or contemplate about much else.

I am not saying I think we are at this point in our country yet, but I am sure that is what is happening in Iraq and in alot of other countries in the world.

The above thoughts may label me as a "Conspiracy Theorist" of sorts but I don't care. There are alot of people out there with questions and the only way we are ever going to possibly even skim the surface as to what the truth might really be is to keep questioning.

My Current Long Term Reading Interests (available for loan from my personal library as soon as I am finished with it):

A book I have been reading for quite a while now (it is pretty deep reading in some places) talks about alot of the history of the planning for a "One World Order". I picked it up at a used book store a few years ago and I have been reading it off and on since then.

It is called "Hope of the Wicked-The Master Plan to Rule the World" and it is authored by Ted Flynn.

I have included a link to Amazon.coms website where the book is still available for purchase:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0966805631/ref=pd_bxgy_img_a/104-9871797-5766327?%5Fencoding=UTF8

Be sure to read some of the reviews towards the bottom of the page. If my quoted reviews and my own thoughts do not stir all of us into looking a bit deeper into all of this then I seriously feel that those people are just too afraid to "look behind the curtian"....

From a website that talks about my current read: The book details many of the agendas of the "globalist community." It explores the convergence, on a global basis, of multinational corporations, foundations and the political and sociological instruments that would form a one-world government designed to bring about a New World Order. With 550 pages of text, 82 photographs and 1,200 footnotes, Flynn's book provides a strong historical basis to show that there is a global elite working to end the sovereignty of nations and to place every person on earth under the authority of the United Nations.

Though it was published in 2000, there are many references to plans that were laid out by a few very powerful people along time ago and alot of these plans were discussed in some instances 50 or even 100 years ago and alot of said plans have already been instituted and quirte a few things that were talked about as happening after the book was published are now happening at this very moment. Some pages are like reading an "altered view of history in the making". This one book alone is pretty "scary reading" in parts.

In the following weeks I plan on quoting from different pages of this book and I will let people make their own judgements on things I talk about. I have learned that it often helps to have an open mind at times and also at times it helps to read bwtween the lines of current events of things that are going on in our world today.

The following is part of an editorial review from Amazon.com about the sypnosis of the book as they see it: Hope of the Wicked is about the greatest deception in modern history. The book is packed with hundreds and hundreds of quotes from world leaders themselves showing where they want to bring the world. Nothing is left to guesswork; when you are finished reading, you will understand that what seems to be inconsistent and illogical to you, is not to the global elite who wish to bring the United States under the auspices of the United Nations.

The quotes are from established world leaders, past and present, and most are household names. It is laid out for all to see what they have organizedout in the open for all to observe, if one wants to learn what the Masters of the Universe are planning for the New World Order. The book is neither left- nor right-wing politically, but is the view of a scribe observing these trends and issues over a twenty-five year period. It is primarily a resource guide and mini-anthology, with an index and 38 pages of footnotes that will be most difficult for someone to take issue with, principally because the quotes are from the perpetrators themselveswhat they have accomplished, and where they hope to go in the future.

When you are done reading the material presented in this book, you'll never look at the news the same way again. It all amounts to control, control of your money, your work, your family, your education, your attitudes, your beliefs, your thoughts. Do you think its impossible? Read Hope of the Wicked and you will know for sure it is not only possible, it is already being done.

To add to the above: I feel very passionately that those who don't question things are those who will loose everything they hold dear weather they know it or not. And when they finally do realise what is going on...it may just be too late.

A Good Monday to All....
