Hack your mind with SBaGen

I just downloaded a neat little software program that I just have to mention. It sounds cool (see links farther down) and one of the coolest thing is that it is freeware (free of charge). I plan on installing the program and playing around with it this weekend.

I have had a hard time sleeping lately and there is alot going on in my life right now so I figured this may help a bit. It seems like a cool idea all the same.

Also a little background info on "Binaural Beats" and their effect on the subconcious brain:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beat

SBaGen is a freeware GPL program for Linux, OS X, and Windows that induces changes in consciousness (dreams, hypervigilance, etc.) with binaural beats. Headphones are needed for maximum effect.

read more digg story

( the Digg link above will also take you to the homepage of the software author where one can download his program and also find more info on the subject at hand).

If anyone else decides to experiment with this little "toy"- let me know if you notice any results.

There are some warnings on some of the pages that I have regarding these beats and one in particular says that goofing around with these sounds can possibly cause seizures and maybe even death. So.....use at your own risk.

Happy Friday to all....
