NASA Taking on Science Fiction...and with the Same Name!

This news article was kind of cool to read, esp after all the coverage of all the Tsunami Devestation and all the aweful weather and disasters out in California.

There is a video also on this page that shows what "Deep Impact" will do once it hits the comet.

And a date of July 4th....how cool is that??

Next thing you know, the Goverment will FINALLY tell us that there is a huge gigantic "Mother Ship" hovering in space between the earth and the moon aka "Independence Day"!!

The world is so strange these days that absolutely nothing would suprise me anymore, including our goverment telling us that they have had contact with alien intelligence.

I often think that movies are a "precurser" to actual events and that the goverment has a big hand in the makings of these "spectacular moving pitcures" and that the reason for this is to "soften" the masses to what just may be going on that they subtly want us to know about. Just a thought......

What else do I have to think about??

Well, the other night I was sitting at my local Barns and Noble with my laptop, browsing the web on their highspeed internet WIFI and my laptop was starting to run low on "battery juice", so I went looking for an outlet to "plug into". What an adventure that was. I found two outlets and both of them had people sitting in front of them. One of the tables finally left and I moved my stuff over to the table where one of the outlets was...and plugged in.

I mentioned to the manager that they should seriously consider adding more outlets or running some extention cords through the store. They offer the "WIFI" service, as do many other places these days, but then trying to find an outlet to connect to is often very frustrating. And for those of you that have laptops will surly know, the battery power on most of these suckers doesnt last more than a few hours at most...and less if your running any intensive applications or programs.

So....an open call to all those operators offering wireless access to its custumers....PLEASE CONSIDER ADDING MORE OUTLETS FOR US.....THANK YOU!

Happy Wed. Everyone.
