A Huricane named after Me!

How exciting...
The latest hurricane of the 2006 season is being named after me.
And...it is a categorgy Four storm already.

I am just reading about it now.

Huricane "John".....
It is heading up Mexico's pacific coast line and forecasters are predicting it could come closer to land as it makes it's way up said coast line.
According to the article below, the "eye" is not projected to hit land but with all storms...this one is just as unpredictable as other storms.

Stay tuned.

In other news closer to home, it seems a strange weather pattern took place yesterday over our Lake Michigan here in Racine.
Waterspouts developed over the lake early in the morning and though none of them came to shore, quite a few developed out in the lake. It is said these "mini tornadoes" over water, could potentialy come on to land as full fledges tornadoes.

The picture above the story here is one of the spouts that were captured by a local camera bug.
Kind of cool ha?
