Wow...I think you were kidding, but am amazed and heartened to see this! Having been raised Catholic, I was long at odds w/ some of the beliefs/practices, esp. the non-welcoming (my perception) attitudes towards gays. I am now proudly a United church of Christ member, and belong locally to a "social justice" and "open and affirming" church. But, was glad to read this news, regardless--thanks!--Danielle
