I just heard on CNN news that a METRA (Chicago area Transit System) derailed coming into Chicago from Joliet causing numerous injuries and two deaths. How aweful. I have rode this system a few times and have always felt safe. I cant imagine dying on a train because some "engineer" was reckless (which seems to be the case after reading the following article-click on link below my intro) and didnt slow down in time. How tragic for all those people. I am planning on taking a day trip into Chicago on this system on thursday to shoot some photos of Chicago and it's suburbs with my new digital camera and I sure hope that engineer drives correctly.
