Saddam Hangs??

So the day has finally come..

The 21st Century's most evil Villian (so some say-others would say it is our current president) has been executed.

Saddam Hussein was greedy...
He was also lustful...
He lied.....
He plundered...
And he killed....
(Most of us share 4 of 5 of those qualities at one time or another in our lives...)

His death will reverberate around the world and hopefully though not be enough cause for an all out "Holy War" or "Armegedden" as some are saying it could be the harbringer of.

I personally think that Saddam was a "puppet", a "scapegoat" of sorts if you will....to start something in the middle east that has been planned for a very long time. He was the "match that lit the fire" that will not burn itself out for a long time to come I fear.

This is just the start of something much bigger than "almost" everyone realises.

God Help Us All....

Happy New Year
(Oh wait...I will save that for later....)

Merry Christmas

The above photo seemed appropriate since we have no snow and the temps are more akin to what one would feel in Florida on the beaches rather than Denver in the mountains...

I just wanted to take the opportunity to offer each and every person who comes across the "John's Crazy World" blog a "Merry Christmas".

I hope everyone has a joyous holiday and gets to spend time with their loved ones...And for those that still believe in Santa Clause...I hope all of your wishes are granted and all your dreams come true.

I know most of my dreams and wishes have or are coming true this season.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!!

Happy Holidays

It has been a while since I have posted anything on my blog....as such I have probably lost a few regular readers...I am sorry for that but I have been very busy the past few months and my level of being busy just wont seem to stop (but that can be a good thing I guess also) and I continue to chug ahead full speed with all the different things that are happening in my little corner of the world.

My two jobs have been taking up alot of my time as well as spending as much time possible with good friends and family over the last few months.

Racine sure is an interesting place to live and for anyone who says it isn't then they are not looking in the right places.

So what has the last few months brought for me?

I have been busy with helping some friends who have a Bed and Breakfast here in Racine and have learned alot about that segment of the lodging industry....so much that I hope to get a business plan together in the next year or so and possibly open my own (that right now is still a dream but as they say...dreams can come true...one just has to wish hard enough!!) or in the least, maybe go in with some friends to get another one going here in Racine.
The wonderful home that has been a part of my life can be seen by going to: www.racinebedandbreakfast.com
(Sorry..for some reasons the hyperlinks are not working right now with my blogger application so you will have to cut and paste it in to your browser.)

We had an early winter snow storm that dumped about 10 inches of snow on Racine and it proved to be a intense winter blizzard and pretty much shut down the city that weekend.

I have been spending time with close friends trying to have a little "holiday cheer" and...for the 1st year ever, I have all of my xmas shopping done BEFORE Xmas eve!!!

I hope everyone in the world has a very merry christmas and a very happy start to 2007.
